Coming to a McDonald's near you...

So sad that McD's was a welcome meal. I don't even eat it in the states. All in all, I think I did pretty good. All of our meals were local fare with exception to McDonald's twice and KFC, Pizza Hut, and Subway once.

I definitely can't get used to having seafood for breakfast. Abalone congee, fish cakes, etc...

Walmart in China!

Wait 'til I upload the video... They sell a few recognizable items in unimaginable flavors. Pringles come in crab, seaweed, BBQ meat, and chicken flavors.

Latin flavor in Xi'an!

Our Venezuelan friends from the group Latin Feelings jammed the night away playing salsa, merengue, bachata and a few American pop songs. Vanessa stole the dance floor!

Can't believe this is on tv AND they find it entertaining!

Chinese commercials are awesome!

Terracotta warriors in Xian... What a sight!

We learned that the emperor was only 13 years old when he started construction of the warriors, at age 39 he started building the Great Wall, and at age 50 he passed away. He wanted the whole underground army to remain a secret, so once the underground army was complete, he buried all of the workers alive.

There are so many more interesting facts about the site and we took many more amazing photographs, but cellphone pics are the easiest to upload for now. We've included a photo of the farmer who discovered the warriors in 1974. He's 82 now and visits once a year during Golden Week.

Apparently we're a spectacle here...

Everywhere we go, we get eyeballed up and down. Now random Chinese people run up and ask to take photographs with us. Here's a shot of the guy who started it all:
