Kentucky Fried Chicken... not the same!

After experimenting with local food over the last few days and a mixup this morning that cost us $50 US dollars per person for a buffet BREAKFAST, we opted to go to a local KFC for a quick, inexpensive dinner. The experience was priceless. Not only is it hard to understand the photo menu... it didn't quite taste right, either. The family meal for 4 cost about $15 and included 6 spicy wings, 6 original recipe thighs, a vienna sausage can size mashed potato with a starchy, bland gravy filling over half of it, 4 sodas, and two french bread looking things that had red speckles throughout. Oh, and let's not forget the 6-pack of creme brulee dessert thingy's. We have no idea what they were. Enjoy the photos...

The Great Wall...

When in Beijing, if you need a taxi... call Albert Dong. His cellphone is 13001235051. Nice guy and will give you lots of advice.

He drove us for two hours to the Mutianyu portion of the Great Wall. Since we are smack in the middle of Golden Week, traffic is insane. All of the Chinese are traveling domestically, causing massive crowds throughout Beijing.

Here's a few iPhone photos... Have to move on to the next post. Vanessa just ate a scorpion! Video to be posted shortly.
