Snacks around town...
Everyone walking in the streets was snacking on something. We saw kids eating hard boiled eggs, to chicken feet (shown below in two flavors), and even corn and the cobb. Corn here is meatier and the kernals are sticky. They are sold on almost every corner for 3 yuan, which is about $.75. No scorpions for us, yet. ;)

Favorite moment of the day... Trying to order our first meal where English isn't spoken
The cashier was yelling at everyone and it was very fast-paced. With no idea how to convey what we wanted to eat, I took out my iPhone and showed a flashcard that read "I'll have what they're having." I got the biggest, toothiest smile and everyone in the restaurant turned to laugh at us. Below is what we ordered... pork dumplings.
